If you haven’t heard, tattoos and trees have recently become good friends, in the Love Earth Tattoo Event. On Saturday, July 13th, Barrie’s Endeavour Tattoos & Piercings held a Flash Tattoo event, offering nature-themed tattoos at an inexpensive price, with all proceeds helping to fund Living Green Barrie and our Tree Planting Program. The event was a massive success, with customers lining up out the door and around the building for a tattoo to plant more trees. The staff at Endeavour worked around the clock, providing artistic and creative tattoos for clients. We could not have asked for a better day, or better people! 
This event has inspired Living Green Barrie’s Project Director, Andee Pelan to start a fundraiser of her own…
Andee’s Tattoo Fundraiser
Pelan has spent a good portion of her working life in forestry, and wants to see Living Green Barrie able to provide more Tree Plantings, to grow healthy mature trees, and increase canopy cover for the city. The Tree Planting Program is one that Pelan is passionate about, and her fundraiser aims to boost this program to the next level! She has set monetary goals on her Facebook Fundraiser for Living Green Barrie, that if reached, mean she will get a tattoo!
$200– Andee gets a tattoo
$1000– Andee gets a “larger-than-she’s-comfortable-with” tattoo
$5000– Andee’s large tattoo will include the words, “No Regerts” (yes, spelling error will remain intact!)
