Sponsor a Tree Planting Event

Contact  info@livinggreen.info for details

Living Green Barrie’s “10,000 Trees for Barrie” campaign is a significant environmental initiative aimed at enhancing the city’s urban forest to combat climate change and promote ecological well-being. The campaign’s goal is to plant 10,000 native trees throughout Barrie, contributing to carbon sequestration, improved air and water quality, and increased biodiversity.

COMING IN 2026

Host a Private Tree Planting

Looking for a hands-on way to make a difference? Gather your group and join us in growing a greener Barrie! Living Green Barrie invites community groups, schools, clubs, and special interest organizations to take part in a private tree planting event.

Planting trees is more than an act of environmental stewardship — it’s a way to plant roots in your community. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to Canada, Ontario, or Barrie, a tree planting is a wonderful way to connect with neighbours, meet like-minded people, and help make our city a little greener together.

It’s a fun, rewarding experience that lets your group learn, connect, and leave a lasting impact on the local environment.

Available dates are limited and will be posted here in the new year.   Plantings take place during May and October 2026.
