Volunteer Opportunities

Here’s a snapshot of some volunteer opportunities with us: from helping out at events, supporting tree planting, assisting with social media and communications, to contributing to administrative tasks and data projects. No matter your skills or interests, there’s a way for you to make a meaningful impact — and we’d love to have you join our team!

Social Media and Digital Marketing Support: We do our best, but we know our social media presence and event promotion could benefit from someone with stronger expertise. If you’re comfortable navigating digital platforms and helping us boost our reach, we’d love your support.
Data Systems & Analytics: We’re looking for support to build and maintain a comprehensive database and to help pull key stats and insights for reports, funding applications, and strategic planning. This role will strengthen our data foundation and help us make informed, impactful decisions.
Fund Development: Organize a fundraising event through our Third-Party Fundraising program. Funds raised go directly toward program growth and providing the tools and resources needed to ensure our initiatives are successful.
Bingo Support: Volunteers help us meet the requirements for OLG funding. Each shift is two hours, and your support ensures a steady, reliable stream of funding for our programs.
Open-ended projects: A variety of projects that have a clear goal but no single “right” solution, allowing for creativity and a variety of approaches and outcomes.

🌳 Plant Trees with Us
Join us for tree planting events in May and October—including our fun Halloween-themed event the weekend before Halloween (costumes welcomed, just be sure to dress for the weather and terrain!). Simply register for a planting date that works for you.

Want to earn an extra volunteer hour? Help us set up before or pack up after the planting event! Just email us at info@livinggreen.info and let us know you’re a student interested in helping out.
