Join Ashley Hammell, SATURDAY ONLY co-founder of Pollinate Barrie and she walks you through why we need native plants in our garden. Learn how you can easily attract, support and protect butterflies and bees in your yard. Ashley Hammell is a teacher and self-professed garden punk who co-founded Pollinate Barrie in 2021. Her organization has helped get thousands of native plant sprouts in the ground, and are aiming to help several thousand more.

Pollinate Barie is a community-led group that wants to help create and sustain native pollinator habitat in our City. Everything they do is volunteer driven by people passionate about plants, pollinators and planet.
