Who– Everyone! No experience required.  Our community planting events are open to the public.  This spring we are calling all newcomers, students, families, groups and individuals to plant trees with us!

What– Community Tree Planting Event

Where– Shalom Park

When– Thursday May 14, 2026 3:00pm-5:00pm

Why– Plant roots in your community & increase our urban

canopy.  Bond with friends and family as you plant and name and visit your trees.

STUDENTS– bring your volunteer forms and collect hours for your volunteer service requirement.

How– The event is free but we ask you to register so we know how many shovels and trees to bring.
